Racing For The Triple Crown
Billy Williams (95) is leading the ST117 league on August 28, 2042 in the three big categories, batting .365 with 43 homers and 140 RBI for my Nashville Nuts.. His only competition is his teammate Carl Yaztrzemski who is in 2nd place batting .355. The number three hitter in the league is also on the Nuts, Hanley Ramirez, hitting .343. I'm debating sitting Yaz a few games but I think the 10 point lead is safe. Yaz was in first place until yesterday so he must be in a slump. Hopefully I will find out what the Triple Crown pays in PP.
I really should be in a higher league but you have to play the cards you are dealt. The Nuts are 25 games out in front now so I should be advancing next year. I was able to add Willie Mays SE100 to my outfield this year and in 95 AB's he has 8 homers and 19 walks. Go Nuts. Last edited by Watsmata4u; 08-29-2020 at 11:12 AM. |

So I sat both Williams and Yaz for the last couple of weeks of the season and he did win the Triple Crown for 5,000 PP. He also won League MVP. The only problem is that the 5,000 PP doesn't show up on his card or under my transactions list. I know I got paid. The MVP award is noted on his card. You would think Triple Crown winner would rate a mention on his achievements list.
