I do wonder though at what point the Pirates manager starting 'sensing patterns" in that fatal ninth inning.

Ok, thanks for the comments and I wasn't going full conspiracy theory here I was just looking for actions to take.
I called up 3 pitchers from my minors and also swapped out my bench bat for a guy who can play multiple positions. I also swapped out my 4th Outfielder to try and find a spark in the line-up. It's to early to tell so far as I've only played 5 games but I finally won a game and went 1-4. A win is a win I guess...

strike outs this season and his previous high was 191. I am not sure why OOTP feels he should have so many. So, I fired my Batting Coach and have seen a small turn around. |

Have a deep team with strong pitching and defense. This should avoid prolonged slumps.
Hitters tend to be streakier. Defense is consistent and pitching with great defense should allow your managerial skills to influence results a bit more. Last edited by jbergey22; 08-28-2020 at 12:16 AM. |

Im the other end of the spectrum if my team becomes too dominant I lose interest because it loses the feeling of being reality. I get frustrated with losing teams and losing streaks but I love the challenge of fixing that problem. |
