As a baseball manager is there a way ...

After 20 seasons of playing as a manager, is there a way to retire the manager, and have a new manager to take his place. But keeping everything the same, ie team, players, history, just replacing first manager with a 2nd?

not sure if you could retire him but you could make a new manager profile and replace your old manager

It's been a long time but in earlier versions of the game I replaced myself from time to time. I also had two manager personas, one AL one NL and would alternate teams from week to week using 7-day lineups.

I don't know that that can be done now.

as of now, as far as i have discovered (and i've looked a bit), there is no way for you to retire a manager. Only fire him. Only the game can retire management personnel i think. It would be a great addition to be able to manually retire them, but alas .... i have not found a way as of yet.

but even if you fire him, the rosters and team remain the same. and you can create a new manager, make a former player a manager (if he's retired) or find another manager from within the game under the personnel page.

Cornelius McGillicuddy managed for 50 seasons. You're fine.
