TNBL (True Neutral Baseball League) is Looking for GMs

Welcome to the True Neutral Baseball League!

All settings have been changed to be as neutral as possible giving every GM a level playing field (from Financials to Ballpark Factors). The purpose of this league is to give everyone a fair shot at winning it all.

Market sizes are equal, and the budget you have is based on how you do in the season.

Here's our basic information:

OOTP Version: OOTP 21
Players: Fictional
# Of Teams: 24 (1 league, balanced schedule)
Exports Days: Sunday through Thursday, 9:00PM Eastern. We've also added 1 additional weekend sim during the pandemic.
League Time Per Sim: 7 days
Current Season: 2045 season. Two weeks into the new season
Communication: Slack
Live sims? 2-3 times a week (rest of the sims are offline).

This league
The True Neutral Baseball League is 17 seasons in and we are in a groove. It's very competitive at the moment, and I don't think we've ever had this many contenders.

We do 1 division with 24 teams, and every team plays each other the same amount of times.

We are an active league and hope that you join in!



Current openings

Kansas City — Financially flexible, very good contending team with a great lineup and some good bullpen pieces. The previous GM built this team using a special strategy that relied on good relievers pitching a lot of innings. There's a ton of talent on the team and it seems like every batter is also a great fielder. Some good prospects in the pipeline (they've got the #2 system), and you have the money to spend on intl amateurs. This team lost in the world series a couple of seasons back but has only gotten better (just has been unlucky in the playoffs). Can you get this team over the hill?

Miami — They have some very good young batters and at least one good young SP. They also have essentially unlimited financial flexibility with only $40m on the books this season and $30m next season, and they've got the #4 farm system as well.

Halifax — Finished 7th last season, although they might be nearing a rebuild as they only have a little budget room and most of their prospects are on the younger side. Those prospects are very good, however, and they've got the #5 farm system.

Kansas City is available. Even with no GM for the first few weeks of the season, this team is still in 2nd place. And they still have a great farm system.
