In Game Playing Field Out of Alignment

All of a sudden my in-game playing field is out of alignment.
The defenders and baserunners are not in their proper places.

I went to the manual to edit the 3D Editor, but do not know how to work it... sorry, not very tech savvy.

Here is a screenshot of what the in-game playing field looks like.
The defenders are not properly placed.
Why is the outfield so small?
Why are the outfielders so close to the infielders.
How do I correct it?

Looks like they're in the right place to me. I think you have the field too flat. Change the camera angle. Not sure of the controls off hand but there are +\- buttons you can push in the editor or "right click\drag, left click\drag" will let you manually move the cameras.

Just play around with that a bit. Nothing sticks unless you save it. Hope that helps.

Thanks, Sweed... I'll play around with it and see if I can luck into getting it back to where it has been previously.

You might not need to manually adjust things, it’s possible that the view got changed accidentally. In game click the “view” button in the top right. Most stadiums have multiple views already set. See if one is there that you like.

You can look at the views in the 3D editor as well and make some refinements to them if you want. Then just save it under a different name and it will be available in game.

When setting views in game remember you have to set all three settings

I played around with the settings... didn't really understand what I was doing, but this is how it ended up... much, much better.

Here is the revised screenshot.

I'll try to follow your instructions and see if I can perfect it.

I'm happy with the basic screen settings now... it's back where it was originally.

Thanks for the help.
Much appreciate it.

What do these mean in the Edit Mode window?
Are they three different adjustments that all have to be set?
Or do you just choose one to set?

Global?

Stadium?

Cam target?

The dugouts are not shown on the field.

How do you get them to show up?

I suppose you check the 1B dugout box if you want the home team dugout at first base... Right?

Sorry, I don't think the 3D Editor is covered and explained well in the manual.
There are no details on how to set it up... it's just generic and vague on instructions.

Does anyone know how to make adjustments of the 3D editor?

Would appreciate your help.

Some stadiums do not have dugouts It's kind of implied they are under the stands, I guess.

Yes, the checkbox is just to set which side you want the home team to enter and exit the field.

Not sure what you want to edit. I've never used anything except moving the cameras. That can be hit or miss with the buttons or with the mouse, IE sometimes it's hard to get the camera exactly where I want it with the right angle, level etc. Anything other than the camera is above my pay grade

Hope someone know how this edit mode works... will post it again to see if someone can help me... sorry to be so technically dense, but I have not been able to figure this out... it must be important... otherwise it would not be there in the game... how do these affect the game?

When you click on "Global" in the "edit mode", a window opens up and you are given three choices.

What is the meaning of "Global", "Stadium" and 'Cam target"?

For most adjustments you'll want to leave it on global. Basically if you have a background behind the stadium and you move the stadium up or down in relation to the camera the background moves with it maintaining how much of the background you see over the walls.

Setting it to stadium and then making adjustments moves just the stadium so you can have more background visible for example.

the cam setting limits the x,y,z axis to two choices and I've never used it but I assume it moves the camera around.

For most editing unless you're doing stadium building (see Silvam and eriqjaffe in 3D forum) you can confine yourself to using the mouse to drag the stadium or use the x,y,z axis buttons. One hint for those buttons is the default movement is set to 15 and 10 respectively which can give some large movements. I set them to 2 or 3 so that I get smaller adjustments each time I hit the button because it makes it easier to work with
