1954 minor league standings 14 games??

I played out 1954 with minor leauges.
why would all my minor leagues show no team with more than 16 games played for the whole season?

2 guesses:

1) somehow the start date of the season was moved up and they are only a few weeks into their season
2) 14 was typed into the number of games played instead of 140.
