Toronto 2020 60 game season.

Just took Toronto as my team for this 60 game season. Living in Buffalo I've been able to attend many Jay's games.

A few items of interest...

Market size "AVG" ? Say what ? It's the 4th. largest metro in North America
Attendance per game 65,485. I believe their park holds around 50,000
Fan interest 51. Seems wrong since they somehow got 65,000 plus into a 50,0000 venue.

One of the 1st. items of business was the draft. I chose to do the actual draft.
When I pressed finish today it said I had to do the draft.
There is no OSA mock draft probably because I wanted the actual draft.
In team menu it says negotiate with drafted players, It shows the Detroit screen who I believe had the 1.st pick.
Another message,,,"2020 draft log Round 1- Round 9 no picks made yet"
Then on Detroit screen it states "draft is finished".

What am I doing wrong ?
Many thanks !

BJ's 2019 average attendance was 21,606, not 65,485. If your other assumptions are as far off from reality as this, no wonder you have problems.

Market size also doesn't mean what you think. It reflects the fact most Canadians are hockey fans. Check out the difference in market size between the Yankees and Mets, or the Los Angeles teams.

So don't worry about market size. Focus on team building.

I think if you load up the short season, some of the previous numbers won't show up correctly, since it's probably taking the 1.8M fans they had and dividing by 30 home games rather than 81.

There are some issues with the importing draft button - there are multiple other threads about that that give some workaround options, and it will be fixed in the next patch. As for the fan interest pieces, Toronto's in a down time now, so their numbers are going to show lower now than they would have a couple years ago.
