It's OK, Mets fans. I'm a Tigers fan. Our guys just weren't smart enough to think of this, OK? Besides, Gov. Whitless would probably prohibit it on the grounds that the cutouts would be at risk of the 'rona.

I wonder if they do that in Tampa will there be more Red Sox cutout fans in the stands than local fans? How many cutout fans will there be in Miami? Maybe more cutouts than live fans. LOL

I think this practice is happening around the whole league right now, it's not just the Mets.

Reckon they need to make up for tickets and concessions somehow

Leeds United did it over in England and they just got promoted to the Premier League. Of course, they did get some bad publicity when one of the cardboard cutouts was Osama Bin Laden.

They've done this for the National Rugby League competition here in Australia/NZ as well. A few infamous folks got past their checking team, too.
