Player Opt Outs and COVID with new patch?

So, I am sorry if this has already been mentioned. With the new patch, I notice players like Nick Markakis and Buster Posey are still active on the roster. Are guys like this going to removed in future patches since they have opted out for the season?

Also, what about guys who have currently tested positive for COVID or injured that we know are not going to be ready for opening day (Will Smith for the Braves, Kela for the pirates, Puig, ect) Will these guys be adjusted in the future? I know it must be VERY difficult this season to get the rosters right, but just curious. Thank you!!

If you want the most up-to-date rosters choose live start when creating your league, you will find that most of the current injuries and opt outs are accounted for. I believe management wanted to leave the injuries and such as of March so that the folks who wanted to play the full season pretending covid never happened could do so. Basically wanted to leave all options on the table so everyone can play how they want to.
