The Cardinals are who he had his one no-hitter in real life against, though he was with the Reds then (1978). I am pretty sure the Cardinal lineup he faced in 1978 was a lot tougher on paper than the one your Met Seaver faced.... That one was just begging to be no hit....

Do you ever play 1969, 70 or 71 and ask yourself how the Orioles didn't go 162-0 every year?

Well, no, not really.... But I do wonder how the Mets ever beat them. If the Reds had not traded them Frank Robinson, the Big Red Machine may have had a chance in '70.

On to the point of the post... On opening day 1969 Tom Seaver no-hit the Expos. It would have been a perfect game except Bud Harrelson committed an error. Boxscore and newspaper.. Oh, and just have to add I did see the Orioles play 2 games in'73 vs the Twins at The Met. Not a lot of change in the team from '69-'71. Palmer and Cuellar pitched. Still had the great lineup. I hated those guys

Sorry, against that lineup it should not count as a no-hitter.
It is pathetic.
