Draft picks involved in trades

As always many thanks for a great game, the most balanced hockey sim if you ask me.

When sim through the years i’ve started to notice how very few picks there is involved i trading from the AI. So yesterday i simed 11 years to the summer of 2030. I collected some stats season for season…

19/20: 1 pick involved i trade (3 rounder)
20/21: 3 picks (7R x3)
21/22: 4 picks (3R, 7R x3)
22/23: 3 picks (3R x2, 5R)
23/24: 7 picks (3R x2, 5R x3, 6R, 7R)
24/25: 8 picks (2R, 3R x7)
25/26: 9 picks (3R x3, 4R x3, 7R x3)
26/27: 13 picks (3R x13)
27/28: 14 picks (3R x5, 4R, 5R x2, 6R x4, 7R x2)
28/29: 15 picks (2R, 3R x8, 4R x3, 7R x3)
29/30: 9 picks (3R x4, 4R x5)

Summary…

Number of 1 rounders: 0
Number of 2 rounders: 2
Number of 3 rounders: 46
Number of 4 rounders: 12
Number of 5 rounders: 6
Number of 6 rounders: 5
Number of 7 rounders: 15

The number of picks involved in trading is evidently on the rise when the years goes by. But it feels like the number of picks involved in trades is way to low in the game compared to real life. AI teams unwillingness to trade high picks is quite clear also.

I suspect the devs is aware of this. Hopefully something can be done for the next edition of FHM.
