2020 Live player ratings

With the imminent start of the real 2020 season, I understand that 2020 live player cards can go up and down in worth depending on their real life performances.
Does this just go on "under the hood" of the player cards, or will individual and/or overall ratings change on the cards?
Can a player even change tiers if he rises or drops if the overall rating changes? Example going from 69 to 70 (bronze to silver) or 80 to 79 (gold to silver)
How frequently do these changes happen?

The individual ratings change and the overall can change. They can move between tiers. The changes occurred weekly last year.

This is the point where I get rid of all my live cards.
I don't like ratings to change. I prefer stability.

Haha. I streamlined my collections on MLB the Show this week in order to avoid the headache.

I would do the same here if I didnt take care of them already.

I have never experienced this part of it.

what about Syndergaard? will he stay stable because of injury or drop?

People who don't play will have no changes

We're still working on the exact dates and frequency (I know we had previously said bi-weekly), but yes, changes will be deployed on Mondays during the league setup phase

When changes are deployed on a Monday, what is the last day's games that are included? Sunday's? Saturday's? earlier?

Generally speaking it should include all stats from Sunday's games, although there's always a chance that if there was a late west-coast game on Sunday night we might not get the stats from it in time for the update.

For me it makes LIVE cards far less reliable to have on your active roster. But they are more interesting to trade on.

Silvers you pick up on the AH could turn in to Golds, Golds to Diamonds, Diamonds to Perfects. If you can predict which players are going to get hot, you can make a decent amount of PP as their overall rating rises.
