Server time ?

Hi I notice that there's a new simulation phase every 20 minutes or so (is it exactly 20 minutes or something else?) . Then games stop for cca 8+ hours. Then simulations restart. But it's never always exactly at the same time that the 8 hours breal occurs (I'm in Europe so in general it stops in the morning til mid-afternoon).

Could someone explain a little bit how the server woks and what are the precise operating time ?

Regular season games are played every 30 minutes from 10:00 to 1:00 US Eastern Time (16:00 to 7:00 Central European Time), Monday to Saturday (or Sunday morning in Europe). The only exception is that it may end 30-60 minutes later on Saturday night/Sunday morning to fit in the last game of the regular season and any necessary tiebreaker games. Playoff games are played every 15 minutes on Sunday, starting at 12:00 EDT (18:00 CEST), and ending about 7 hours later, depending on how long each series goes.

I'm however discovering this great sport by learning how to play OOTP21. And so far, I'm having a lot of fun ! So please, excuse my baseball ignorance.
