Issue with Tournament Rosters

Over the last few days I've had a couple issues with my roster in the Gold Cap 1750 tournaments as well as the Super Cap 1750 daily tournament.

When the new tournament exits preparing mode, it replaced my ideal roster with random guys from my roster. Then import my ideal roster from the file and submit it and it says accepted prior to the start of the tournament.

However, after the tournament starts, it appears that my old random roster gets loaded into the game, as though it never accepted my ideal roster that I submitted. Any ideas? If have pitchers on my staff that don't have a defined role, would that cause an error?

Still happening

This issue is still happening. The pattern is I sign up for a daily gold cap tournament and submit my roster. After the the tournament fills up and goes through the "preparing stage," I have to resubmit my roster again because the game will load a random roster in place of the one I submitted.

Then after the first game has been simulated, I check my roster and once again my submitted roster is replaced with random guys. Can somebody please help?

Thanks,

Adam

There may be something else going on here, but your team will fail a sanity check if it doesn’t have enough relievers with assigned roles. If that were the problem, the sanity check should fail before you submit, not after, but at the very least you should try assigning more bullpen roles if you haven’t already.

Thanks I'll try that and see if it works. It's weird that it's telling me the team submit is successful though.

EXACT same thing just happened to me in the Sporer's Sandlot tournament (1981 settings). Just like you, I went through the whole shebang of setting up the rosters, pitching roles, lineups, strategies, etc, and submitted with no errors. It reset after the preparing stage, so I go through and set up everything again and submit. Tournament starts, and I now have a random roster.

All my relievers had assigned roles, although I only set up middle relievers and long relievers... I don't set closers or setup men. I wonder if that's what screwed things up, although I didn't get a sanity check error.

But MAN, that's frustrating... spent ~40k PP getting my roster just right only to end up getting stuck with a random roster
