Buying from another one of my teams

This seems fishy to me, so I would like to check whether this is ok.
One of my teams pulled a card that another team needs to finish a collection, but I have not seen it on the AH for a while.
Would it be appropriate to sell it for the L7 price, and have my other team snatch it up?

Teams operated under the same licence can not buy/sell players from/to each other.

If the teams are operating under different licences, I would not find offense with a deal at last seven days' value, but I am also not affiliated with OOTPD.

It is extremely fishy and subject to tough scrutiny, but not illegal if you don't do it in bad faith. For some reason I thought it was coded to be impossible, but I just tried it myself on a useless duplicate Bronze and it worked, so clearly it is possible. You probably already worked out why it is so fishy - a less scrupulous player could use auctions to funnel cards and/or PP across multiple teams, when every team is supposed to be competing against each other independently. I think the accepted wisdom is that you should list it for a reasonably long time without a BIN, so that it's a real auction and not a direct sale from one of your teams to another.

Say, if you have the game on Steam, make another Steam account, buy the game there again, now you have another licence.

I asked this specific question last year and was told it was against the rules regardless as to any restrictions you put in place to ensure the price was "fair"(i.e., listing it at most recent, at last 7, etc).

As for having multiple licenses, the easiest way is to purchase it on Steam and then purchase a second copy from OOTP directly. Once you create your second set of teams, you only need to maintain one copy of the game; you simply log in with the proper credentials and it will work.

Hmm have never tried it. Couldn't you also run both copies of the game at once then since it only limits logins by license? And basically be managing two teams at once?

I tried that last version to see if it was possible (Direct purchase and Steam) to make it easier to check the six teams I had, didn't work then so I doubt it has changed. Maybe on two different computers it could be done if you want to try that.
