The curse tried to strike on Soriano's hit when it hit the mound and caremed skyward.

9th inning, tie game, game 7 LCS. What more can one ask for?

I have to give credit where credit is due. Great Simpsons line.

Hopefully it will go to 17 innings, so whichever team ends up winning will be so tired, they won't be able to compete with the almighty Marlins in the World Series.

Questionable move pulling Ortiz for a pinch runner with 2 outs already.

I dunno, Ortiz is pretty fat and slow.

Come to think of it, most of Boston's lineup is fat and slow. Ramirez, Nixon, Millar, Mueller, Varitek, along with Ortiz.

Yeah, but the only way it matters is if the next batter hits a single; if he doesn't, you've lost his bat for the rest of the game, and it's looking like it might be a long one.

Don't worry, Bud Selig will declare it a tie if it goes much longer.

Well Aaron Boone took care of that. It's official, I am now a hockey fan.

Great series. I'm glad Boone was the one who came up with the game winning hit. he deserved a momment like that more then anyone.

Now the question, who the hell pitches game 1, which starts Saturday?

HAHA! I was wondering the same thing.

I had just about given up on the game when the 8th came up. Holy crap!

This was definately a great series, and a great game 7. Once of the best playoff series I can remember. Great job by the Red Sox. If they had won, Nixon would have had my vote for MVP.

I would think it would have to be Pettitte or Contreras

I like the idea of Contreras pitching game 1, he has been pretty solid in the postseason for the most part.
