Small List of Ideas & Suggestions
Hi everyone. Let me start off by saying two things:
1.) I enjoy the hell out of this game. I've been looking for something like this for a long time and it's really scratched the itch. I bought FHM6 during quarantine and I've logged 200+ hours. 2.) I've only ever played FHM6, so I don't know the long history of conversations that have gone down in the forums. My apologies if any of these items below are a proverbial dead horse. I predominantly play Standard games as an NHL GM, so these items below are in relation to that style of gameplay. Here's a few things I'd love to see... TWEAKS TO TRADING/SHOPPING PLAYERS All of my ideas here basically revolve around one main idea: more interplay between GMs. For example... Give CPU GM's the ability to "Shop Players" - Yes, the trade bait list exists- but it's difficult to keep up with players being added/removed from that list. Not to mention, it's not that engaging to just check a big list over and over. I can see it being much more engaging to see a message pop up in my inbox that so-and-so is being shopped and am I interested? (Could even spark a bidding war, maybe?) Shopping Picks - As we hear every year around draft time, there's always a lot of chatter about "would you move that pick?" It'd be interesting if there was some chatter/shopping of high 1st rounders built into the game on an infrequent basis. It'd even be nice to shop my own first rounder leading up to the draft so that I could entertain some offers. ARROWS FOR STAFF Sorting thru the hundreds of Free Agent staff is really one of the least enjoyable parts of the game (for me). There's a lot of different things that could be done to address this part of the game (ie. more detailed filters), but one particular annoyance for me is the lack of arrows when sorting thru staff. See attached picture. Not only do these arrows not exist when browsing Free Agent staff, but I don't even have the option for these arrows when looking at my own staff. Adding those arrows for my own staff would be a huge improvement at this point. Along this same vein, is there any way to add in the functionality of opening a scout's profile while I'm in the Assign Scouts page? Right now, the only way to open their profile is to go into the Staff page. I keep a spreadsheet of each scout's ability/potential numbers, but it'd be helpful if I could click on a scout and open their profile directly in the same page where I assign them. Thanks for reading! |
