How do you set the salaries for Scouting Directors?

Always wondered about this, and look every year in case I keep missing it...but is there a separate salary baseline for Scouting Directors? Or do they follow whatever is set in the value for Coaches?

You sign scouts (their salary) just like all other front office personnel

You set your scouting budget in the Scouting or Finances tab

Found this searching "scouting" in the manual

yeah, that part I understand. but what is controlling the salaries they ask for? For example, right now salaries range from 500k to 1.5M. What if I wanted Scouting Directors overall to make in range of 250k-750k?

I believe the only thing personnel salaries are based on are experience, so years of service.

Notice if someone has 20 years vs someone has 0 years the one with 20 years exp will always ask for a higher wage. Their skill level has nothing to do with their wages.

There is probably some hidden scale of wage increase based on job. Typically if say you hire a DSL personnel they would want less then if you wanted to make them a MLB personnel. It's typically not a huge increase but there is some kind of sliding scale.

Sorta the same thing with Head Scout as you can hire a GM, ass GM, or even a coach as your scout. The 1st major part of wage is dependent on years experience then some kind of sliding scale for job type.

It is really easy to test with coaches since there are lot more generated ones in the game then people who can scout. Look at the difference in wage of a rookie coach to a 45 yea old vet. Its a huge difference.
