Finally pulled a decent Diamond out of a Standard pack

I've already have Kiner, B Williams, Ichiro abd Klein in the outfield....King Albert would make a better defensive upgrade over Williams or Kiner in left at the expense of a little offense....

Keep Belle or sell and invest in upgrades?...figure based on recent auctions could net 35-40K?

Because I like having players that aren’t the same as everyone else, like B Williams and Kiner, I’d definitely go with Belle. See how he does for a week, then go from there? Maybe you can build around him if you get some great card pulls out of packs. I’ve sold some guys early and wished I hadn’t many times already.

I got a fairly sweet historical diamond from a challenge pack.

Always knew it was theoretically possible, but it's just never happened before.

it depends if the 35K will improve a different weakness on your team? Not sure Belle really improves your current team? Scout the AH for possible upgrades for your Infield or pitching. If there are relevant upgrades, within this price range, sell him!

His D is better than Kiner or Williams in LF for sure (as odd as that sounds) His ZR is still pretty blah though....

He might be a slight upgrade, but it depends if you can utilize the PP for a significant upgrade elsewhere by selling him. Your call.

Nabbed a nice one just now, I always seem to get Live cards when I do get lucky and get a Diamond.

Definitely the highest value card I've pulled so far, easily worth more than the 100 Scherzer which was the only Perfect one I've pulled.

Not bad numbers....his ZR was trash though at -6.6

He also did it in '95, a season shortened by 18 games due to the strike.

I just sold him, he got snapped right up.

I'm pretty happy with my Haller/Hoiles platoon for now, and I didn't have any of the other Jackie Robinson mission cards. So let someone who has a real shot at that mission spend the 33K. I could use upgrades at some other spots.

Nah, this one is a keeper

I don't open a lot of packs as it is, just challenge mode ones and when I win a tournament.

I woke up this morning to see I'd come in 2nd place in a 16 team one and opened the one pack I had. Still hadn't had coffee, had been awake for maybe 10 minutes and BOOM!

Is he the one with the great defense and base stealing ratings?

I was thinking of trying him out on the team with Maddux if I can find him on the AH to try to maximize him with a strong defensive catcher. But I want someone who can contribute on offense too.
