Hard to tell exactly what happened there without seeing his stats for just the month, and what he had to compete against.

To give some context, the only reason I noticed was because it was October.

Hank Bassen for the Canadiens was 5-2-0 with a 2.14 GAA and .934 SV%, After I saw Sauve's stats, I checked the league leaders page.
