A Plea to Kris and tha boys (and maybe girls)

All the new missions are cool and thoughtful, but they're missing from last year that was incredible last year. Given the team mission structure you guys have rendered most LIVE Gold and all LIVE Diamonds & PERFECT to be worth only the digital paper theyre printed on. They're like landmines when they flip over during pack open. You guys are an empathetic bunch, so I imagine you feel as bad for the likes of Ozzie, Yasmani and Anthony and of course Gerrit as much as I do.

I encourage you to spend half of a "Mission Thursday" thinking about and deploying missions that give that class of cards any value above marginal whatsoever. Even more reason is that we need a reason to get back into todays game and the theme of this year has really put a lot more effort and weight from a ratings an focus perspective into cards pre 1950.

I also invite anyone to agree with or expand on my treatise.

I don't disagree with your point at all. However, I must say that I am thrilled to get the quick-sell points from any live diamond, and I would LOVE to get the 20,000 points from Gerrit Cole.

You know certain things need attention when people are not even excited or happy at the prospect of pulling a perfect. Some people have yet to pull one ! Show some pity for your fellow unlucky gamers...

Part of it is due to no live baseball this year though, there is no fluctuation in live cards at all. That market is dead due to its stagnation.

This is no different than last year. Vast majority of gold+ live cards went for quick sell value for most of the game life cycle. Some perfects are higher now due to less supply but golds and diamonds dont sell for much more.

Live cards just arent good and have the ratings super inflated.

plus the lack of live updates is having an effect, last year at least there was speculation on golds becoming diamonds etc

It does seem that live cards are far less useful than last year. When I pull a live perfect and it sells I am happy but at the same time wonder why they bought it.
