If I can ask a silly question, when does the Perfect League actually start? I see all levels up to Diamond, but nothing after that.

Cheers!

From my understanding, we are waiting for there to be 30 diamond leagues, once there are 30 diamond leagues, all the champions will be promoted to the first perfect league

Not quite. We wanted to wait until there were "enough" diamond leagues, which happened this week. So the first week of Perfect play will be next week, featuring the 20 diamond league winners battling it out.

I have a follow on question from the post above about playing "historical games". I have now started 4 games as the 1927 Yankees, winning the World Series 3 times. the last time with a score of 1038 (out of 1000) yet I have still not won any player packs.

Is this just random bad luck or am I missing something? I followed the "rules" exactly as stated.

Also, when mention is made of first/second season does this mean that the 1927 Yankee season then becomes 1928 season or does it mean start again with the 1927 Yankees?

Apologies for newbie questions but hoping someone can give me a heads up.

Thanks
TerryB
Weird...i simmed my first season, had a monster season, but got beat by the Cubs in the playoffs. BUT, i ended up being rewarded a pak for getting a perfect score. How I could get a perfect score without winning the WS is beyond me!

So, now what? Come back in 3 days and start all over or continue with this team?

Ya you have to wait 72 hours then you can do it again. You can continue off where you left off I guess ya.I prefer to start a new historical season every 3 days that way I can use the 1927 Yankees team for each sim. The team will be much better if you do it this way and your chance of getting the rewards would probably be greater. If you just carried on with your previous game your team might have some players leave the team or that are injured so it might not be as good as the original 1927 team so that's why I just start a new game. Good thing to do though is to delete some of these saves though because if you keep on doing a new challenge save every 3 days it will start to use lots of disk space if you are a person that doesn't have much.

I had to circle back to this post. I konw it's a couple days old, but your original post mentioned winning a Diamond league wasn't possible. I just wanted to add that my Kansas Rangers are a F2P team part of the well known Our League Group on here. Unfortunately, the leagues didn't work out and there's only a couple OL teams in Diamond at this point, so that F2P team was essentially in a Random Diamond League. They managed to win a Diamond Level World Series this week.

It can be done. Needs a bit of luck which we had since the best record in the league (and run diff) was knocked out. I was the second best record and run diff though, so it wasn't all luck!

That is awesome, congrats!!!

BFF had several teams in the diamond playoffs last week as well, but no luck getting through. Myself, missed the playoffs by 1 game from losing a tie-breaker. But yeah, it's safe to say FTP is alive and well.

My Free to Play Bay City Boomers just won gold at the 2nd attempt to get to Diamond.

I built the team using Live missions to farm PPs at lower levels, the PP production definitely dropped off in gold, I don't expect to do greta things in Diamond. i've barely invested in pitching beyond the mission cards

current lineup and rotation, the Mike Trout and Rickey Henderson are both the Player of the Decade versions, Pee Wee Reese is the peak, from the prices I paid for things I calculate my PP earnings to be around 200k with this seasons earnings being 16k, highest individual PP getter from the live collections has been Maddux with 17755, Bagwell dropped off in gold, plus has only been backup/vsL this season so is only at 14800. Trout has earned 7.3k in 3 seasons so far

Now that BFF is in perfect (congrats QuC!!), we can also definitively say that is possible even without any lucky pulls.

Question I just started and in rookie league currently winning my division with an 8 game lead likely going to the playoffs. At first I was just buying cheap gold players and I realized my mistake as ratings don't mean much. Sold off my guys and starting going after the collections.

I've got 5 of the collection players... should I be turning around and selling these players getting the 4K points and completing more missions? Or hang on and enjoy the slow grind of accumulating more points through games?

I now want to explore tournaments and trying to win as much packs as I can for the random chance of a great card.

Just wondering where to go from here as I am F2P

I would prioritize you’re regular team and only sell off guys that are no longer good enough to be on your team.
