Some miracles have to be seen to be believed, like this SE Jose Abreu scoring an Inside-the-Park Home Run, but I promise it happened.

You have to find happiness in the little things. Like handing Louisville its 10th defeat while out-hitting us 15-5.

![]() Yo G301 needs to get it together! I am not ready to be promoted this week... been bouncing back and forth between crushing Silver and getting blasted to smithereens in Gold for the last few weeks, don't know what happened this week! |

Apparently the entire division behind us just fell apart, we spent most of the first half of the season duking it out with Arlington for the division lead with the second placed team leading the wild card, now we have a 9.5 game lead and Arlington is 4.5 games out of the second wild card.
Cruised into the all star break with the best FIP, second best bullpen ERA and the third best starter ERA even though all our pitchers suck. No really, we didn't get any pitchers into the all star game. OK I'm exaggerating but the point is we have really good pitching without any dominant pitchers, our 4th best starter has a 3.74 ERA, all 5 starters have at least 2.0 WAR, every reliever has a positive WAR, our closer has a 2.90 ERA, our setup guy has a 1.77 ERA, all but 2 of our pitchers have a sub-4 FIP and the other 2 are at 4.08 and 4.23. |

Taking refuge here from some of the other more acrimonious threads. I assume people who post here enjoy the challenge of PT21.
Collingwood crawled back to .500 but faced 15 games in a row against 85%+ winning teams so only has won 4 of those. Fairly confident that I won't get relegated, however. Oh, what fun it is to not get relegated! Hamtramck is winning its division handily--it's live mission reward cards being better than other teams' live mission reward cards. ![]() Detroit Deadball is finishing up live mission reward cards and is set to blast off from stone level. Should be entering diamond sometime in July. Someone copied my iron team verbatim. Didn't even bother to change the lineup or rotation. Only 1 relief pitcher was different--probably because he couldn't find the historical RP I use in the AH. Then beats me 4 games to 0, |

Think your differential's slipping a bit too. But, it could be worse. Over in D.367, the Grackle's wheels have completely fallen off
.These diamond leagues can be very topsy-turvy. The Tinners improved quite a bit after I abandoned my experiment with 'the 2 Willies' in LF (Keeler and McGee, high BABIP my arse) , and put Furillo back in everyday. McGee is now doing 'OK' as a bat boy.

Paragon City Heroes had a brutal schedule for the month and are lucky to be 63-70, i only needed a couple of players to complete the 60s so got the Willie Mays, he went on to hit .203 with a 663 ops, meanwhile the 95 Clemente i bought is hitting .393. we still haven't really got a 2b or SS. Will definitely be going back to a neutral park next year
San Angeles 70s are going back to silver ![]() Lowdown Lugnuts 84-50 are just 2 1/2 games back from an absolutely loaded team that features Speaker, Appling, Ruth among many others, eventually this will be a 1900-1929 era team, and i've sold a few SEs to bring in some of those guys. The team will probably be worse when I switch fully but they'll look good Bay City Boomers 79-56 tied with Vermont Lake Monsters for division lead we play 6 games this month, so they will likely be crucial. sold Rutschmann and made Boone my no1 catcher, in order to pick up Rickey henderson SE, I prefer him over Ichiro ratigns wise with his eye, power and speed, lets hope that converts to a decent leadoff hitter. our lineup has become very right handed though, maybe need to look at replacing Bagwell with a lefty

Mets with a 3 1/2 lead for a spot in the wild card shambolics that they reached the last two weeks and went 0-2 for.
The Coons are no good, nada, no bueno, zilch. My roster is trash, I can't pull anything worth writing about from a pack, and they don't make any points either. They're 17 under .500, but probably not getting relegated (+6), so... ...in essence, I have two ded teams.

Well, I was waiting until October to go on a spending spree, but although the calendar says June I felt like October. (I can't stand being on the edge of relegation every week) So....
Meet your new Magpies: DH -- Frank Thomas -- replacing Billy Williams 1B -- Todd Helton platooning with Bagwell 3B -- George Kell -- Cano moves back to 2B while McDougald is backup IF and Peckinpaugh is sent packing. LF -- Rickey Henderson platooning with Yastrzemski in LF while serving as backup OF elsewhere. Snider remains on the roster as pinch-hitter and my 3rd string catcher moves to reserves. and finally all in on.... ta da SS -- Jackie Robinson whose ratings have gradually inflated to near God status (compared to PT19 and PT20). Even so, I'd prefer a real SS and move JR to 2B someday. Except for 42, these are those dreaded "incremental improvements" that devastate a PP balance, but hopefully I can at least play .500 in Diamond with them. |

Lots of interesting things happening this week. All my teams are having really good weeks!
Wyverns are going to the playoffs. Normally, that's super exciting, but this week is an easy week with an 18-team league, and only 8 teams in my sub-league (with 4 going to the playoffs). Redlegs should break their franchise record in wins this week. Just need 1 more to tie. Also leading the division by 2 games. Hoping for a banner upgrade! PT20 Brutes are destroying their division, currently up by 21 games in Diamond. Previous best win total in Diamond was 83 games, and this week they have already won 97.Kind of excited to see that Diamond division title show up in the banner! PT20 Redlegs are the only team struggling, as they usually do in Silver league. Will finish with 70-something wins. Currently 3 games above relegation. |

Bay City Boomers went into the last month tied with Vermont Lake Monsters. I don't know what i did to fire them up but they earned over 6k PP while running rampant with an 18-7 record, beating Vermont 5 times out of 6 to end up 99-63 11 winning the division by 11 games. Maybe my new leadoff hitter had something to do with it.
![]() We are still outsiders going into the playoffs with the 5th best record, our bullpen is paper thin Lowdown Lugnuts 103-59 2nd best in the conference but also in the division, we play a team who won 20 less games in the WC, clearly setting us up for defeat they are my only postseason teams this year

The White Tigers in D.368 finish at 97-65, though that only gets us the 3 seed, finishing 3 games back of Brattleboro and 12 back of Cottage Grove. We finished with the top team FIP and bullpen ERA, and were second in starter ERA, runs allowed, and batting average. Weirdly, for much of the first half of the season we weren't even in the top 6 in run differential and were way ahead of our pythag record; by the end of the season we'd moved into second in run differential and finished with a negative pythag (unfortunately for Jersey, who finished in third in run differential just 6 behind us, they had a pythag of -11 and missed the playoffs with the 7th best record in the conference). Verlander had the best record of my starters at 17-8 but the worst ERA at 4.08, he finished strong winning player of the month in September though. Guidry had a 3.57 ERA but was only 10-12, Paige was great as usual at 3.39 going 16-12. Richard wasn't quite as good at closer but still with 33 saves and 14.5 K/9.
Black Knights finish at 83-79 in G.316, missing the playoffs by 1 game in the wild card standings. Sun Kings in G.321 finish in a tie for the wild card with division rival Ames at 88-74, but we get the wild card game at home. The pitcher for us will be Deacon Phillippe, who finished with the third best ERA in the conference at 3.24 and recorded a 16-9 record; Maddux also was solid with a sub-4 ERA, but our bullpen was pretty garbage. We did hit the second most home runs in the league, with our best player being Bagwell who hit 31 and went .316/388/.525 for a .913 OPS and a 5.1 WAR. In PT20, the White Tigers in P.440 led the league with a record of 109-53 with the best team FIP and second best starter ERA, Paige and Richard finished with an ERA of 2.55 and 2.60 respectively, Feller had the worst ERA but hit the 20 win mark, and Eck had a 1.88 ERA with 45 saves. The Golden Lions in D.412 got the 3 seed, winning their division by 2 games at 85-77, with the best starter ERA; deGrom finished with a 3.21 ERA though he was only 16-14. The Black Panthers in P.467 finished at 78-84, 15 games out of the wild card. So, 4 playoff teams, including both White Tigers teams again, hopefully that franchise can finally get its first title, though the PT20 ones seem to have the better shot this season. |
