Re-starting with OOTP and have some questions

I used to play OOTP a number of years ago and I am thinking of getting involved again and I have a few questions.
I keep seeing STEAM mentioned on the website. What is that?
I'm guessing that with v21 having season-opening rosters you could play some of the games we have missed. Is that the case?
Also, I saw a button that said Discord. Is that a place to complain?

Steam is a video-game launcher that a lot of companies use. I personally would buy direct from OOTP rather than Steam, since Steam takes a cut for themselves, as the main benefit of Steam is that you have all your games in one place, given that you clearly do not use Steam, there's not much purpose for it in your case.

Yes, it has opening day rosters, and you can play a full season for 2020.

Honestly I had no clue they had a discord, but yes, a place to complain

Thanks. I bought the game and just started one, but I have one really big question. The only way I could get it to stop was going to the Task Manager. There obviously is a better way than that.
Also, is there a way to minimize the screen when I want to? Couldn't find that either.

Under the game menu there is an exit game option. As for minimizing, I have no idea why it fullscreens on some.computers and not on others. I can minimize on my new laptop but not my old one.

Using the windows button can bring up the taskbar and let you escape the game without closing though.
