Do rewards improve higher you go in Leagues?

Just recently started playing OOTP 20's Perfect Team and went from Entry Pool to Iron to Bronze to Silver in a month. I had a winning percentage of around .720 in Iron and Bronze but the amount of PPs I made in the leagues is vastly different, despite winning the Bronze one.

I made over 60k PP in Iron, 35k PP in Bronze and just under 12k in Silver. I am going to get my team back down to Bronze and keep earning PP from my diamond hitters and iron pitchers. What are the rewards in the upper leagues? Is it worth it go for those leagues?

You'll want to acquaint yourself with the discussions/rules about tanking, and the long arguments about whether PT's promotion/relegation system is worth a damn.

As you note, the higher you climb, the less PPs you return. You've been playing the game a short time and already uncovered its greatest flaw/weakness. Congrats.

If you intentionally drop your team down levels you will likely get banned.

The system is a mess IMO but nothing we can do about it now

Searched the old posts discussing this and indeed, they haven't made it worthwhile to advance further.

Also, not sure they care much about tankers in the old version of PT now. I reported one in the first week where some had Ruth/Cobb/Bonds/Gehrig/Wagner/etc. in the Iron League with all 40/41 rated pitchers. He had won a WS in the Perfect League, too His team comfortably scored about 1,800+ runs that season and he finished with about a .500 record. Nothing has happened to him since.

My teams in PT20 are making north of 25K every week, not counting tournaments. "Worthwhile" is the challenge of getting there.

Sure, that would be good, but I need to build a team that can do that. My team is not good enough to do that in Silver. No point in staying in mediocrity. I prefer the Cubs/Astros way but am hoping it doesn't turn out like my Phillies.
