My committee of pitchers no-hit Houston!
Eat it division rival Astros!!!
In a super-important playoff game, my Reds staff combined to no-hit the Astros. Gagne "started" with 4 IP giving up only 1 BB and getting 5 K. Dotel took over with another 4 IP getting 4 K's and giving up 1 BB. Rhodes almost blew the no-no, but Ichiro made a super-catch to preserve it! Final line: 125 pitches, 75 strikes, 3 BB, 11 K, zero runs on ZERO HITS!!! This was a pivotal game in the playoffs and we went on to win the series and the championship! I think this is my first ever no-no in OOTP play...at least the first I remember. Just had to share

WTF? You had Gagne-with-a spoon starting?
Who do you have for relievers? Eckersley? Gossage? |

Solo reality league in the year 2007. Gagne is starting as a remnant from my experiment of zero SP's and all relievers. The experiment worked, as I won the series in the year I tried it. Now I'm leaning toward acquiring more SP's. Oswalt won the Cy for me in his first year on the team, and I have another youngin' as my other SP and several others in the minors. I "start" 3 relivers and 2 starters and it seems to work well. I have the SP's at #1 and #3 in the rotation so my pen doesn't get super-tired.
Guys in the pen you'd know are Dotel, Donnelly, Rhodes, and Hitchcock (who starts a lot cuz he has SP endurance). It's a fun experiment if you wanna try it sometime. Plus MR's are much easier to have around than good SP's. And if one starts to suck, you can take him out of the rotation

I've been playing since OOTP4 came out and I've yet to play a No-Hitter. I've simmed a bunch of them, but haven't played one yet.
