Duke Snider on my Broncos just picked up 5530 by hitting for the natural cycle, culminated by a 10th inning walk-off HR.

A nice consistent season from Paragon City Heroes, somehow we are just 2 games back in the WC race at the end of May we were in the relegation zone
![]() meanwhile the Bay City Boomers just keep getting better ![]() i guess getting lots of base runners helps score runs ![]() And the Lugnuts are still leading the division courtesy of April, but the gap is closing ![]() I've seen the error of my ways on the Lugnuts, I will be selling off the team next season in order to do the live missions, pitching and defence is ok at lower tiers but doesn't generate many PP so improvements come very slowly

For the first time the Mets won a pack in a tournament!
There wasn't anything of value in it, but ... but they won a pack in a tournament. Well, it was a big step for *us* ...!!

Had high hopes for a season at beginning in Iron 201 that yesterday seemed lost. No matter who closed my bullpen kept blowing saves, even Joe Nathan two in a row after scrambling to complete Minnesota mission to fix the leak. 10 games back when I went to bed last night. Currently on a nice 16 game winning streak, down to 1.5 games!

Perfect team 3.0 started with much more features than the prior versions. Namely, we have missions and tournaments right from the start. We all know CASH is the easiest way to build a team, but if you were to try to build a team around tournaments or collections, which is better.
Below is the top Mission completed and tournament wins for the teams in my league. I understand this is one league and a small sample, but I could not help but notice the top 5 mission teams happen to be playoff contenders (circled in red on standings). The top tournament winning team, with 405 tournament ![]() ![]() Anyway, the Seawolves have a 100% chance for the playoffs and probably a 0.9% chance for the title. ![]()

What it doesn't say is what kind of tournaments they won.
That could be 405 8-teamers with a 200pp payout. That's 81,000pp, or a little over $50. Indeed if you've played and won that many tournaments I'd expect that to largely be the case. Last edited by Warhawk; 05-30-2020 at 11:35 AM. |

Both teams are around / slightly above .500, Mets might even make the playoffs. But the Mets surely aren't making many PP, and I am still nowhere near the slugging corner outfielder I think I deserve.
Yes, I have SE Ott. But I deserve better.

This Blazer team really isn't bad despite their current record. They are in the hardest division at the current highest level. On top of the tournament wins they did complete 63 missions. Below is their team. I think they just need replace the 2020 live players with better non-lives.

Collingwood has an 8.5 game cushion on relegation with 22 to play, but the run differential of -109 puts them in relegation territory. Last week, the pitching staff was in the top 5, this week the same pitchers are in the bottom 5. Fingers was terrible, so I palmed him off on someone else for a cool 189K net. I know, I know small sample size! But, it still seemed too much capital tied up in 1 bullpen arm. Now I can afford a shortstop who can hit as well as field. I replaced live Betts in RF with McCarthy, who ranks 13th of hitters in my limited sample size. After selling Betts, the net cost was less than 40K.

Wyverns are slowly improving. They will have their best record to date in Silver League, getting above the .500 line. Got a few bullpen upgrades, and it's showing with my lowest Silver ERA so far.
Redlegs are also doing better. This is their highest scoring season to date, so that's good news. Should finish just above .500. Decent upgrade this week getting a 69 Jose Iglesias as my new everyday SS. PT20 Brutes got a few minor upgrades this week, so that's exciting (hard to get upgrades being pack only when most of roster is diamond cards). Still having a tough time competing in Diamond League play. PT20 Redlegs got a huge upgrade this week. My first diamond Redleg, a 94 Aroldis Chapman. Looking forward to having him for a full week. |

There's a SE Sisler in my Bronze League who has a decent shot at a 50-50 season if he gets 2 HR over the next four games. I wonder what the payout is.

Paragon City Heroes got to within 1 game of the Wild Card then went 1-14 to finish 78-84
San Angeles 70s and Bay City Boomers won their divisions and Lowdown Lugnuts got a WC spot despite me selling players off in order to do the whole of the live collections yesterday

Mets (88-74) squeak out a wild card in a division with the top four separated by seven games at the end. The Critters stopped playing in September and crashed to 77-85.
The Mets want to add Peak Carl Furillo, but remain several thousand PP short. ![]()

White Tigers finish as the 3 seed in D.356, going 97-65. We had led the division by over 10 games for a long time, but a 2-8 stretch in mid-August and a 6-12 stretch in mid-September meant we ended up scraping out the division win by a margin of 1 game We'll play Wayzata in the first round, who we went 4-2 against in the regular season. Starting pitching was pretty good, four of our five starters were at 4.00 ERA or below, and Verlander, who was at 4.58, actually had the best FIP. Might try Gibson in the rotation again now that he had a 2.05 ERA as the long reliever. Richard led the conference in saves with 41, with a 1.99 ERA
Black Knights went 61-101 in D.361, highlighted by a 1-20 stretch in June, and will be relegated. Sun Kings in G.301, who last time they were in gold went 96-66, finish 76-86 after being in the relegation zone for a good chunk of the season. Over in PT20 the White Tigers made the playoffs after missing for the first time in 17 seasons last week, they got the 3 seed in the P.456 NC and led the league in home runs. The Black Panthers again missed the playoffs, in P.474; that's 7 seasons in a row they've missed the playoffs but weren't relegated, all but one of them ending up between 73 and 80 wins. Golden Lions ended up 84-78, which would have been good for second in the central or west of the D.365 NC, but we finished in 4th in the east. So only two playoff appearances this year, both White Tigers teams. |

...and as usual, the Mets lose their Wild Card game due to the unhinged bullpen becoming ... unhinged.

G304 Update
All in all, it was a quite successful First Relegation for the Huntley Red Raiders. The boys banded together to take G304 by storm and are assured of promoting back into Diamond for, one hopes, a slightly less humbling return appearance. Before that, though, can Huntley add a nice golden medallion to its existing silver medal?

PT20 White Tigers got swept in the divisional by a total of only 4 runs. PT21 White Tigers beat 2-seed Wayzata 3-2 in the divisional, winning game 5 10-1 as Paige gave up 2 hits, 2 walks, and no runs over seven and a third after losing game 1, while Verlander, Joss, and Maddux all went at least 8 innings in their starts, though we blew the lead Joss gave us in the 9th. Meanwhile divisional rival Oaxaca City, who finished 1 game back of us, beat Everett 3-1 in the other divisional series, so we get to start the sub-league series at home. |

Aaaaaand Verlander started game 1 of the sub-league series and didn't get a single out. And I burned through all 3 of my long relief guys (Gibson, Guidry, McCormick). So Maddux better step it up in game 2.

Lowdown Lugnuts won the WC, then lost 3-1 to avoid getting promoted
Bay City Boomers won the 1st round 3-2 and the 2nd 4-1 , waiting to see who we face next San Angeles 70s are facing elimination from a 129 win Juggernaut loaded with Historical Perfects and high rated peaks, 3-1 down currently and not really any way we can get back in it I'm considering what theme to go with on the Lugnuts as i'll probably sell all of the live collection cards and commit to something, I've been thinking 30s (with added Negro League players who played in the 30s, but that will likely be limited and expensive. 1900-1929 would probably be fairly easy due to the amount of players, 1980s is another possibility but the variety of players seems low, and finally just an all out speed team, but again that is likely to become expensive
