So, we get MLB coverage starting at 1am over here, for the Cubs-Marlins. So the into plays, we're quickly transferred to Yankee Stadium. The count is -1-2 to Nixon....we see one pitch, our summarisers are shouting 'get out, baby' as the ball arcs its way into right-field...

What a classy way to start show!

Mueller dbl's.....Nixon homers.

A bit of breathing room but can never be too comfortable with that Yankee line-up. Due up bottom 9 - Giambi, Williams, Posada

Neither I wouldn't dare risk a base runner in game 7 of the AL Championship. If anyone tries any kiddie play, they should get out of the MLB, as this is THE biggest game any of these players will play. Nothing is bigger than Sox/Yankees.

Game 7 should be pretty damn exciting. Another surprising game for game 6. After so many pitcher's duels, the bats finally wake up somewhat for both sides.

I've got to believe neither wants to do anything dumb in game 7, should be a beauty.

Why not bring in Rivera in the 9th? You know if you want a shot to win, they cant score anymore in the 9th, so why not bring in your closer?

Also, when is Aaron Boone going to be benched? He isn't doing ANYTHING at the plate, and his fielding hasn't been anything special.. Go put in Enrique Wilson or even Luis Sojo. Both those guys are more clutch and will produce more then Boone.

Luis Sojo will produce more than Boone? Are you on crack?

Boone isnt producing AT ALL. I think 1 RBI batting .100 something. Look at Sojo's playoff numbers, the guy is clutch.

Maybe I'm over reacting by benching Boone in the 7th game of the ALCS, but seriously he has not done anything.

Would there be any thought to starting Wakefield tomorrow instead of Pedro? Wakefield has done much better then Pedro against the Yankees. or, do you have to go and pitch your ace?

I'll bet Fox is creaming their jeans... Game 7, Redsox vs Yanks... and if the Cubs overtake the Marlins early lead Fox is guaranteed a marquee series of either Cubs/Redsox or Cubs/Yanks.... beats hell out of Anaheim vs Frisco...
