Help with finances please. What is going on here?

I'm trying to get everyone to have the same budget without zeroing local media and merchandise so I set revenue sharing to 100 and changed the budget to entire revenue available. What is happening is that the higher revenue teams are now having a lower budget than the low revenue teams. what is going on?

Alright, i think i figured it out. The budget is (revenue - revenue sharing) so what's happening is that the teams that make a stupid high amount of revenue is having too much taken out. i don't understand why they cannot take all revenue and evenly distribute it

This is with 75% revenue sharing. It's not right that the TB Rays would be last in budget if their revenue was 20th.

Also, I'm not sure why there's a 78 million difference between total revenue and total budgets

There's still merchandise, tickets and playoff games to make finances different.

All the cities would need the sane market size, interest and loyalty

All of which is included in revenue. 100% revenue sharing should take all revenue, including the items you listed, and redistribute it equally

The 75% budgets are much closer than normal, so there may be a 'sweet spot' somewhere.

Thanks but I know how to make it equal as I said in the op. This post is highlighting the fact that revenue sharing is not working properly

I'd imagine that it must be that some revenue isn't being accounted for.

If you find that you might find the problem

Hidden revenue, really? All revenue is shown on the dodgers screenshot

This. Luxury tax works 100% as described. But revenue sharing does not.

revenue sharing is broken and has been for years

financials need a total rework. they haven't been touched in a decade and don't work really well
