Can I receive my license key ?

I bought OOTBPP21 on STEAM. Then STEAM had an upgrade a few days ago.
Once that upgrade was put in place I wasn't able to save the game. I was in my 3rd. season as the NY Mets GM/manager.
So I'd like to get my second license key so I can uninstall my original STEAM purchase and download OOTPBB21 not using STEAM.
Since I don't know my license key can someone send it to me developers?

Is this the right way to go since the development team is not assisting me.

Thanks you.

You don't have a license key if you purchased from Steam. I'm not computer savvy guy, but I wonder if you might be able to uninstall/reinstall on Steam to fix your problem?

Have you contacted Steam? They should be able to provide technical support.

Steam has nothing to do with being able to save your game in ootpb. Either you have some kind of screwy computer problem going on or there is a problem with your universe save game file.

Make a a new test universe and try to save that. If it works that means your main universe is messed up. Which why you always need several backup copies.

I backup every 4-6 months game time and autosave every month. OOTPb really needs autosave and backup automatic rollovers. Lots of other games uses these. That way you would have say 5 autosaves from the last 5 months that just always were over written same thing for backups.

Whenever you aren't able to save an OOTPb file it is almost always a problem with the universe save file iteself and then the slim chance its some kind of funky computer problem. It will never be a steam issue and it will really not be an OOTP program problem/application problem either.

again try a new universe and report back

I uninstalled OOTP and bought it again. Let's see if it locks up again in the middle of my 3rd. season.
Thanks
