How did Nick Maton turn out in your sim?

Just finished the 2022 season and Nick Maton put up 6.9 war for me with the O's. 139 wRC+, 211 hits, the list goes on. And this includes a September in which he had just 2 extra base hits. Cult hero status in Baltimore

Curious how he did in other sims because this development was, uh, unexpected.

Funny - in my league, he never got promoted out of AA (he should have been) and retired in 2024:

Ha, poor guy put up two solid seasons in AA and then decided he had had enough of the Phills not respecting his talents.

In my Phillies save I had him as my utility bench player. Then later traded him. Certainly mlb caliber.

Right now he’s on the Indians on my save and he’s a key member of their squad, middle of the order hitter who gets on base a lot.

His AA line in 2020 looked a lot like it does in yours, but I overreacted to having a ton of Rule 5 guys and sold him to Kansas City in the offseason. Maybe I should get him back.

If I had less depth in the MIF he would be my utility guy. When guys went down he did a solid job covering. If he makes any jump in the offseason he could be on the major league club next season.
