Not salty
I hear you. I was 7-0 against the wildcard in the regular season, but lost the best of 5 series 3 to 1. All of sudden my batters forgot to hit?

Wyverns are getting relegated. I'm ok with this since this team is basically not generating any PP anymore (I think I get to pull 1-2 packs a week), so I can never improve the team. Looking to have a good week in Bronze next week.

Redlegs had their best season to date, winning 85 games. Still finished 2 games out of a wildcard spot and 1 game back of promotion. Maybe next week will be their week?

PT20 Brutes struggled this week, but I did upgrade a bench spot mid-week, so let's see if that helps a bit in the future.

PT20 Redlegs got trounced in Silver and will be heading back to Bronze. Seems like they are a really good Bronze team, but a really bad Silver team.

Welp, White Tigers swept the divisional, but got swept in the sub-league series by the third place team in the NC west, who had beaten the 1-seed Outlaws 3-1 in the divisional. So another choke like always.

Black Knights won the divisional and are tied 1-1 in the sub-league series.

PT20 sim is broken which sucks because I feel like the White Tigers would have a good shot this season.

Collingwood was dealing in the post season, at least for awhile. They got past the Peach Kings 3 games to 1 and won game 1 against the Fury. The high point was the 8th inning of game 2 when they went into the bottom of that inning leading 8-0.... Let's just say if baseball only played six innings, we would have swept this series 4-0 instead of losing it 4 games to 1.

Raccoons won 83 in Silver in none in the playoffs. Mets won 75, had no playoffs, and ran out of PP one card away from completing Dem Bums.

Buffalo Zeniths swept the Bronze Series for 2nd straight. Silver should be much stiffer next year.

In Stone 114, the Bapho Mets jumped out to a 10-0 start. The rest of the league caught up, though, and found the Mets 1 game out of the 2nd wild card, facing the 1st place team in their division, and the team they were chasing playing a sub 500 team. Len Barker did his job for the Mets, hurling a 1 hitter and securing a 1-0 win, but the required help never arrived. The Mets finished 91-71, 1 game out of the playoffs, but still find themselves being promoted to Iron for next year.

In Stone 186, the Iron Manatees started their Rookie League championship defense off slowly, and didn't send a single player to the all-star game, yet still finished strong with a league leading 109-53 record. They dropped their first division series game, but then won the next 3 to meet the 100-62 Tallahassee Tungsten in the LCS. The Tungsten won games 1 & 2. The Iron Manatees fought back to even the series, but then dropped games 5 and 6 to see their season come to an end. They look forward to a competitive run in Iron next year.

In Gold 307, The 89-73 Manatees needed the very last day of the regular season to clinch the division title, winning 2 out of 3 from the 2nd place Morgans. The Morgans, with that 1 win, clinched the 2nd wild card. They won that, then took the division series as well. The Manatees took their division series and met the Morgans in the LCS. It took 6 games to win that series, which put them into the championship against the 2nd wild card from the other league, the Twin Peaks Falls. Mine Hill raced out to a 3-0 lead, before dropping the next 4 games and pissing away what had been a hard fought season. The entire management group is being sacked, and the team rebranded. The early money is on them being called the Chatham Chokers for their first season in diamond, where all experts expect them to struggle to reach 500.

And while I am still very salty about my team losing, congrats to Twin Peaks for hanging in there, coming back to win it, and being a great TV show.

Black Knights lost 4-2, PT20 White Tigers lost 3-1 in the divisional to a team that won 22 fewer games. Managed to crack my way into the top 10 winningest PT20 teams without a title. Maybe the PT21 White Tigers will match that.

PT20 and PT21 Frogs both ended the season with the best league record. Both promptly lost in 4 games in the DS. Some sort of conspiracy, I'm sure.

PT20 Frogs ditching the lefty/righty cheese and going back to straight up for next week at least.

After a disappointing playoffs at least we get a little consolation, San Angeles 70s Willie Wilson wins the MVP in his first full season, hitting ..329/.385/.451 scoring 123 runs and stealing 117 of 130 bases, only 11 1st placed votes but it was enough, Boog Powell also got a 1st place vote despite only playing 122 as part of a platoon. I'm surprised that a light hitting speed guy could win over 40 homer guys but he definitely deserved it. SE Pete Rose won a great bat at 3b.

Bay City Boomers had the MVP Yaz, Pitchey of the Year Maddux, and 7 great bats )only failed to win at 2b/SS) but still couldn't manage to win a playoff round, hopefully the PP keeps coming in at a decent rate in Bronze as we definitely need to upgrade at SS

A season of near-misses for all three of my FTP teams.

The Cluckers were in way over their heads in their first year in Bronze. They had only a handful of diamond players in a division where the top two teams were stacked with perfects and diamonds. The one silver lining was Joe Nathan winning reliever of the year award. They managed to avoid relegation (another team with the same record was relegated), but have not yet been able to make any roster improvements so far this season. Pitching help may be on the way, however.

The Irregulars finished just short of promotion to Bronze in 2026, meaning they were repeating Iron in 2027. Despite several pitching and position player upgrades over the course of 2027 (Walters, Kendall, Kiner, Bryant, Winfield, Caldwell, Wainwright), they ended up with the same 89-73 record as the year before, finishing just out of the wildcard again. Their efforts were rewarded, however, with promotion to Bronze for 2028. Offseason additions Randy Johnson and Dale Murphy will hopefully push them to the next level. In the meantime, the team will look to upgrade their pitching staff.

Los Perros started off 2027 strong, leading their division in Bronze for much of the first half of the season, before the offense fell off the cliff, with Grandal, LeMahieu, Correa, Winfield, and Gallo all performing at or below replacement level. The result was finishing a game out of the wildcard. The team nonetheless was promoted to Silver for 2028. Hopefully a full season of Bagwell, who got a cup of coffee in 2027, and the offseason additions of centerfielder Ichiro Suzuki and backup catcher Jason Kendall will help jumpstart the offense. In the meantime, the team is looking into upgrading at second base.
