Below Salary Floor
I could use some help on this. First timer in hockey and I get the message. Minnesota is below the salary floor. What does this mean and how do I get this message to go away? I was advancing game ti opening night. So the message is "below salary cap"
Thanks for the help. |

I added a player for salary. Then I try to move the game to the start of the season and I get, two many players on the roster. So I move one to the reserve list and then I get I need to add salary again.
I am not enjoying the game at all. How do I fix this so I can play the game? OOTP baseball is easy this game is difficult. Why cant I just 'AUTO" and then everything would be fixed. |

You do need to understand how a salary cap system works though. Every roster change affects the cap. If you put someone on IR, if you send someone down, etc - it affects your cap situation. You can have a maximum of 23 players on your roster at all times too and it can and is a balancing act. Your active cap situation and player situation is found on the bottom of your roster screen, so it's important to watch that. If you want to cheat (and not in challenge mode), add a few million dollars to a player's contract and recalc their cap hit to have it improve your situation. |

I don't see any option to turn this off?
New NHL fictional league and every team is below the salary floor. I can't get past the first game of the season, there is nobody in FA who I could sign for 7M that would make me over the floor as it's a new league with an inaugural draft. |

You have to do it on July 1st. Go to edit league and it'll be there.
