Team Strategy

Thinking about a 2nd license to manage 3 more teams.
But first, I am looking for strategys to follow.
Just don't want these teams to be pretty much similar to the others.

Here are my 3 teams with my current license so far.

1) max wOPA, only LHB who are very good vs RHP, maximize that with ballpark factors, defense ratings each 50+
2) max wOPA, all batters, neutral ballpark factors, defense ratings each 50+
3) max wOPA, all batters, neutral ballpark factors, defense ratings each 70+

I just want to explore which strategy works best with this 3 different approaches.

What could be another 3 ideas for me as a F2P player?

Ballpark Factors

Starting with Chazzycat's post (5th or 6th post) in this thread, which is still one of the most succinct park factors reviews I've ever seen, the thread goes on to some interesting ideas later on.

Three team slow grow

This one expresses his ideas pretty coherently, too.

Now if you're looking for theme team ideas, that's a different ball of wax entirely.

I am not looking for theme team ideas.

You sure don’t have very strict defense requirements.

I think he is saying 50 is a very low baseline for defense ratings. I would agree. Certainly at any important defensive position, a 50-rated player would be giving away tons of runs. Double-certainly, if your park factors are boosted for AVG.

I see. As a F2P player it is tough to find players then.
These higher d-rating limits the number of players fitting my team.
Saving PP takes a long time.

I am trying to put in higher defense for 2B and SS.

The Collusion Network sees knowledge as a thing that must be carefully hoarded and guarded, to keep competition far, far away and protect their monetary investments.

I see perfect team as the opposite. It isn't fun at any level without good teams to play against. I like guides and publication and preservation of knowledge.

Not sharing anything here but existing threads of interest. Chazzycat wrote most of one of those threads, give him da props.
