In my personal OOTP league I operate in Commissioner mode and control all actions of two of the 20 teams in GM mode. Can I do the same in FHM6?

No trade clause
We are just starting up our new online league, two of our GM's just hammered out a deal but one of the players posseses a No trade clause and refuses. The deal includes Giordano to Edmonton, for reference. I checked another random player with a NTC and they denied a deal to Edmonton as well. Are there certain factors that make up a players decision to exercise or is it as straight forward as a team making the playoffs the year prior, or not. Thanks, for listening, appreciate the work you guys do!

This may be a dumb question but is there a way to look at a historical list of trades for a league without having to scroll through the news feed to find them? I couldn’t see it in the league transactions page.

If OOTP 21 is the same as 20, click on Settings at the bottom of the screen where you Continue Game, Load Game, etc.. Click on the MISC tab, and disable "Display Latest News from OOTP".
Oops! My mistake. I thought I was in the OOTP 21 section of the forum. Last edited by DirkGildun; 05-13-2020 at 08:35 PM. |

Brand new user of FHM (and Steam). I have a steam account and an FHM account. Downloaded and started an historical challenge on my main computer. Downloaded and installed on my laptop. Both meet requirements, etc. Same account/login information.
I thought I would be able to pick-up the game I started on my main computer, on my laptop. But I can't 'Continue Game' (it is faded out) and there is nothing under Load Game'. The game I started is still available on the main computer. Am I missing something? Am i expecting too much? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

During the NHL Draft, is there a way to see who the highest rated draftee available is via the Central Registry is or who your scouts suggest you take?

During the draft? Not off hand that I can think of. You would get it in your inbox before though. But trust your Scouts more than the Central Registry anyway.

I wonder if there is some sort of setting I can play with that will make it so that I don't receive so many insulting offers from AI GMs, to the point where I don't want to use the "Shop Player" option.
When I try to shop a player, the offers are insane. Latest was trying to shop Shea Weber who at 34 years old is still a 3.0/3.0 RD. I get about half the teams sending me an offers, with some offering me their 2.0/2.0 29 year old AHL C, or their 25 year old ECHL 1.5/2.0 RW. And it's not just these "Shop Players", the GMs making trade offers think I'm an idiot. I guess what's frustrating is when they answer "NO WAY!!" when I make an offer that is slightly in my favour, but all I have access to is "reject offer"... wish I had a harsher "NO WAY!!" option as well. Anyway, I'm just looking at receiving somewhat fair offers from AI GMs. It's no fun to only ever looking at offers that make zero sense for me to accept. Is there something I can adjust for this? Not sure what you mean by that.
...Also, Weber was simply the last example. Shopping a 27 year old 2.5/2.5 only got me offers of a 7th round pick. I wasn't expecting the world, but again, these are low-ball offers by not one but many GMs. What's the point of "Shop Player" if you are only going to get offers you can't accept. And an aside, does the AI every counter your offer, or just simply accept/reject your offer? It would be nice to have a sense of negotiating a trade with another GM instead of playing yes/no with them. |

Again, a 27 2.5/2.5 is not enough information. What's the contract? What's his scoring? How's his overall stats? Corsi? etc. And they say no, but they say no in different ways. Read the text carefully. You'll need to get it usually to "They'll probably accept this offer", but the higher your ability, the less you have to give up. |

Thanks Adam. I can honestly say that I had forgotten about those ratings you give yourself at the start.
And by what you are saying, will a GM let go of a higher rated player for less if that player is having a bad season stats wise? |
