That looks fantastic. Out of curioisity, what are your configurations for your winter leagues - specifically Dominican, Mexican and Puerto Rican?

I have a bit of a pet project that I'm hoping to do something with soon regarding a very low reputation Japanese indy league. I love loading up all the leagues and seeing where people come from in the free signings - it's primarily Dominicans that never got past rookie, but you do get the odd (respective) gem sneak through from the Dutch or Italian leagues, for example.

How long does it take to get through a day? I cannot even imagine what the September slowdown is with all leagues active.

FWIW, here is my league setup. It chugs along pretty well (about 5 to 10 seconds per day simmed). September days take longer, but it's not that bad. My PC has a 3.4GHz processor, so anything reasonably close to that should be OK.

Also, I would encourage disabling "ghost players", disable "Generate International Established Free Agents", and disable "Generate Free Agents From Independent Leagues." It will make for an enriching and immersive experience.

I don't know if this has changed recently, but when I started this league 14 years ago Winter Leagues in OOTP were just like any other league, but playing in the winter. So that's what they still are, not really like real life where most of the players are basically on loan from their normal teams.

Is there any way to do that currently? It's odd to have guys sign four-year deals with a Winter League team and unless I go look for them I never see them again.

I typically play one day at a time, so it's never been bad. I will notice some things like "creating baseball cards" take quite a while, and I've done away with the almanac that had ballooned to seven or eight Gig.

But I recently upgraded my system to a Ryzen 9 with 32G of RAM and an M.2 SSD, so I'm going to assume it's going to hum along nicely this season.

Out of curiosity, what was previous CPU and was it a detriment to your OOTP experience (hence the upgrade)? Currently weighing up a Ryzen 5 3600X vs a Ryzen 7 or above.

Also, to answer your question, in Winter Leagues I believe you can now affiliate leagues (e.g. MLB, ***, HHfk) and they will pluck out players who fit the specifications (say league or talent level) that you set.

Been awhile since I properly looked at the default setup, but it seems to work pretty well. For instance, I do an MLB Fall Instructional League for around 20-25 games for IntC and Rk talent level players around mid-September into early October. Works pretty well and mirrors Fall Instructs IRL to some degree.
