Player Strategy Not Working

Wasn't sure if this was a newbie thing or a technical support thing, but I can't adjust individualized player offensive strategies on any team.

I attached a picture of what is happening. The slider is greyed out for some reason.

When you go to your manager options, in the section titled 'Team Control Settings' what responsibilities do you have yourself listed as?

even if you can adjust the team strategies there is no way to track how or if it is implemented.
ie
do i not see increase in SH because i have players that suck at it? just lots of UNSUCCESSFUL attempts?

how many Hit and Runs did i actually try? i dunno.....
game doesn't track it.

Also, know that if you hired a Manager who doesn't like anyone messing around with the Lineup or Pitching Staff other than himself, then you won't be able to Force Start any Players. It becomes more of a recommendation. Lol.

I had that problem with Joe Girardi. You can call up players, sign Free Agents, and Trade for someone all you like. The Manager will set the Lineup and Pitching Staff however they want. The option to "Force Start" someone isn't even there anymore.

I know that's kind of off subject but I just thought it's something you might wanna know. If you didn't already. Best of luck. Take care...
