100% rested pitcher unavailable?

I keep seeing this happen -- I try to warm up a 100% rested pitcher, and I get a message saying they're unavailable, and the game says they're "unavailable" with no other information. What is going on here?

If they are highlighted in blue it means they are suspended only time I've seen that happen in my games

I figured out what's going on here -- it was someone I had sent down to the minors for his rest days to clear up some space on the active roster, and when I sent him down, I locked him to the team and put a "bench this player for 50 days" tag on him so the AI wouldn't tire him out when I was just using the AAA team as an extended bench. When I brought him back up, I forgot to take the "bench this player" off of him on the player strategy tag. Whoops.
