Importing and Exporting Rosters
Hello,
I've come across a bug where when exporting rosters to .txt, and then re-importing them (with no changes), pitcher ratings change, in some cases quite dramatically. I've listed the steps to reproduce below, along with my observations. 1. Create new standard MLB league. 2. Turn off scouting and re run OSA scouting to be sure this isn't the cause. 3. Export rosters to .txt 4. Immediately re-import rosters from the exported .txt file. 5. Observe that pitching ratings have changed. Observations: 1. This only affects the component ratings of each pitch. When looking in the player editor before and after, everything besides the pitch ratings are the same. Batting ratings, movement, control, etc. are not affected. 2. The export functionality seems fine. The exported values match what is in game (1-250 ratings in player editor) 3. Pitchers with higher velocity, or who are submariners are affected most. Some pitchers are not affected at all. 4. The fastball column in the export is titled "Fastball (scale: 0-5)" but the 1-250 rating is shown. 5. In most cases, all pitches ratings increase by the same amount. 6. Relievers are affected far more than starters. There seems to be an issue with the calculation of individual pitch ratings, potentially stemming from velocity or something related to the fastball. I'm not sure what processes may happen upon import, but the mapping from the pitch ratings in the .txt file to the pitch ratings in the player editor after importing is not 1-1. |

Has anybody looked into this ? It seems somewhat serious of an issue.
