Differences between purchase options
Greetings, sorry if this is a very ignorant question. But I am wondering if someone can briefly let me know the differences or pros/cons of purchasing the game by download versus steam versus webstore? Versus any other method I may be missing?
I appreciate any guidance, looking forward to buying the game early next week when I receive my new laptop. Haven’t bought since ‘16 and pumped! |

Same version. Steam has the steam workshop for mods and auto updates the game. If you are a big gamer probably lean towards steam. If not than it probably doesn't matter.
I go steam. But big gamer so it makes sense |

If you're interested in the mods, and you're not very computer savvy (like me), I would go with Steam. The Workshop is very easy to use, no need to install a program to unzip rar files, no worrying about which folder to place them in, etc.

If you buy direct from the webstore then the company receives more money as Steam isn't taking a cut.
If you don't have Steam already downloaded on your computer, I suggest buying from the webstore. OOTP Developments gets a bigger cut of the money and you don't have to install bloatware on your machine unnecessarily.
