What does the (fo) next to the pitchers name mean?

I searched the manual, but did not find any results. Also, searching the forum for 2 letters (fo) does not work either.

Follower. The team uses a reliever as an opener, and he follows.

Thanks to Fuzzy, I found it under Pitching Strategy Settings in the manual.

However there is no mention of (Fo) in the Manual. This should be added so that it can be found during searches.

Just don't use them you have to manually make your pitcher a follower if you are gm/manager.

Go to Game Settings, League Settings, Stats & AI. There is a "Use of Openers" option to toggle to 0.
