Gold Packs New Lower Price!

Later today, we will be permanently reducing the price of Gold Packs from 5,000PP to 3,000PP. There are no changes to the odds or the guaranteed Gold card included. Same great packs, new lower price!

Do you plan to adjust standard pack too? Not the price, but the odds? 1 bronze guaranteed isn't that convincing... Spendig 1k to receive a guaranteed 50-100$ card doesn't worth the value... With 1K you can buy decent silver card, so it's a gamble for gold and diamond and the odds aren't that good. Potential of paying 150K to receive a couple of Ks diamond card

Good call on lowering the prices of the gold packs. Hopefully that will lead to more historical golds showing up on the AH to complete missions.

I may have to reassess my reluctance to buy PPs. As someone said, 1000 PPs fora guarantee of 1 25 point bronze card didnt make sense. And 5000 for a gold that would give you maybe 1500 in the AH wasn't worth it either. Now the cost makes the risk/reward a little more palatable. Maybe, I'll use 1 of my three teams as the beneficiary of my credit card.

Is the drop rate for historical golds the same in these packs as it is regular packs?

Yes. At least, compared to Live golds. Obviously the overall drop rate is higher given the guaranteed gold in each pack.
