Owner goal unattainable

The owner wants me to acquire an MVP, however my team has the player who has won 5 of the last 7 MVP's and the other guy is a 5-10 guy as is every MVP in the other league.

I literally CAN'T acquire an MVP.

Odd bug.

Well, it is *possible* for a player to waive their 5/10 rights, no?
