.txt question
If I create a .txt file to import historical players and put a year behind the ID (best year), will it import just that years stats? If I put no year behind ID what stats will it use.
I see the Draft Kings Sim tournament is using avg af three best seasons. How do you do that in OOTP? |

You have multiple options when importing a player in-game. As far as I know you need the year specified when using a text file to import. Use the bbref number and the in-game importer if you want a range of years or any other option. You can leave the team name blank and the player(s) will be imported as free agents.

3 year averages work better in straight historical sims, to my knowledge. It will take the average of those 3 seasons and the player will perform close to those 3 yrs. i am not a fan of it because it never moves Smoltz to a CL, it keeps him as a SP but with bad Stamina for 2 years. see if the attached helps you.
