The Global Coefficient Question
I know this comes up a lot in this forum, tried finding the right answer but coming up a little empty, hope someone can help.
Started a current day franchise in OOTP 21. I'm in the offseason getting ready to start the 2025 season. As it currently stands, most teams only have 1-2 million of budget to spend in the offseason, some are 20+ mil in the hole, and only a handful of teams have a real budget to work with. I've had a very successful run and my finances are in a good place, but the rest of the league isn't. Is this where Global Coefficient comes in? I should note I started the league on default, I just checked and the inflation is set to 0%-0% as well. Everything looks standard. Anything I can do, I want to keep this league going and as realistic as possible. Thanks, |

I've never seen teams run out of money unless some setting was tweaked. I've done quick sims 40+ years into the future with the quick start and never seen that happen.

It's weird. Free agency just started. Take a look at some of these teams (just picked a handful of teams that make up small-medium-large market teams), is something off?

Has the league gone through arbitration?

That is odd. When you click on a team that shows negative and go to front office and salaries are last year's salaries still listed or have they cleared the books?

Wonder why the media revenue went down. Did you make any changes to the settings?

Nope not a thing, and the Tigers seem to be one of the only teams affected by that, looks like everyone else stayed the same in terms of media revenue (A few times actually had their media revenue go up 5-10 mil, but only 1-2 teams)
