BRAND NEW LEAGUE GETTING READY TO START!

The starting year is 1961. This is MLB's beginning of modern history where teams, schedules, stadiums, etc start to mold into what we have today. This year is also the first 162 game season change! Did Mantle get injured this year on the chase Maris in chasing Babe Ruth's 60 hr single season record? Does Hank Aaron stay with the Braves or even set a career home run record in the near future?

Will expand our league according to history up to modern day. At modern day, we will discuss the upcoming rumored team expansions.

Players will NOT retire according to history, nor will their development be effected by real historical stats. Players will also not trade or injure as expected. There will be no baseball stoppage due to strikes and such. Coaches & Scouts will be ON.

This league intends to play from the past well into the future at 2 sims/day 7 days/wk (5 days per sim). Have your exports up by 12 noon & 12 midnight (est). Slack, Stats+, and OOTP 21 required.

I will invite you to Slack for more league prep until we get full. Once we are confirmed full (including next season's expansion teams), we will get the files and begin managing our teams.

I need to make sure there are real dedicated Managers to fill these roles before proceeding forward with costs associated. I'm hoping there's enough managers that would like to see how MLB Modern History turns out if we were in charge from the molding years. This will be my first time being Commissioner of an online league, so experienced assists will be appreciated.

I had responded above for the Red Sox, and then you sent me an email letting me know they were taken. If I can get the Red Sox that would be my preference, but would play the Phillies if the Sox aren't available.
