Just noticed I have Jose Cruz Jr. Jr. in my league. Wonder if there is a way to make that show up as Jose Cruz III automatically

It sounds like no because OOTP can't recognize that it should be Jose Cruz III. You can go in commissioner mode and edit it, though. Takes only a second, fortunately.

As an aside, for those of you encountering this with Griffey, the real Ken Griffey III goes by Trey Griffey and plays football.

Nothing to do with baseball, but this reminds me of a great little movie called Everything Is Illuminated, which featured a border collie named "Sammy Davis Junior Junior".
