Good team players being randomly bought

So I have a been playing and just finished my first season. I simulated a week during my season and when I went to check the rosters afterwards I noticed that one of my players was not on my roster. I searched the players name and found he was on some Mexican international team. According to the transactions he was purchased from my team. I thought that was odd and figured I must have missed an email about the transaction or approved the transaction by accident.

Fast forward to the next season and early in the next season, the first week, I get an email about fans being upset about a loss of a player. I had not made any trades or demotions so I checked the transactions and again my star player was purchased by an international team without me knowing, This time a Japanese team.

Am I missing something, this most certainly doesn't happen in real life. Did i possibly click something in settings that I shouldn't have?

Need more information.....what team/league are you playing as? Does your league allow players to be purchased from you? Sounds like you are playing as a lower league (Indy, etc...) and the two other leagues are higher.

Does your league allow players to be purchased from you? Sounds like you are playing as a lower league (Indy, etc...) and the two other leagues are higher.
