New to the Game, love it, help me find two things please

First off, yes I was bored and quarantined and this game sounded cool. Well it is. Reminds me of the old Stratomatic type stuff back when I was young. I just started, but it is awesome.

I got to make 5 divisions of my choice in one league with 8 playoff teams and no DH. Rocking!

But I have two issues on one topic. With all the stats are there no day/night splits? Lastly, is there an easier way to see if a day game is coming up? (I know think Sunday and Wednesday or Thursday Getaway days, but it is not always for sure)

I only find the time when I start the game and it does not say it in the little schedule spot that shows yesterday, today and tomorrow on your manager home page.

I need this for my catcher substitutions. Forgive my ignorance and thanks in advance guys.

Yes there are day/night stats, you have to go into the batting stats then batting splits tab to see them broken out.

You check the time of the game by going into the score tab under the main league header. You can advance the dates or go back to see game results.

I did find out one thing. When I rearranged the league to 5 divisions and obviously had to generate a new schedule, the default for all games is 7:05. So I am going in league settings and editing my Sundays and Wednesday/Thursday getaway games. It takes time that most may not want to do, but I like day games in the stadiums. Too bad it does not do it automatically, but no biggie.

I've played stratomatic since the late 70's - OOTP is not like stratomatic and visa versa - you will learn to adjust and enjoy both games for what they are not what they are not. Don't let that frustrate your experience.

Yes, it has been 30+ years since Stratomatic. I just remembered stat cards or something like that. Fun stuff.

And no I am not discouraged or frustrated. I can edit the times all day long, it means that much to me to have day and night.

Fortunately with my job as a prof, I get to watch Wednesday and Thursday afternoon games during the summer. Teams like the Dodgers, Rangers and Braves (my team) drive me crazy as they seem to try to avoid those day games. They need to remember the kids coming to the park in the summer.
