Norwich Crew
I've saved the final two teams in the NRL for last because they're both very "minor league" in terms of their names, and that means a lot of custom work on my part. First up, the Norwich Crew. The team is the affiliate of the Admirals, hence the name. I had originally wanted this team to be blue-and-navy, for obvious reasons, but with so many blue teams already in the league, I decided to invert the color scheme. The main logo is custom, with stock art for the wheel. The minor logo was pulled from a stock logo site and recolored.

Am I missing something ?
Why does every team have the same stripe pattern. |

I still think you should have a couple of options for your league. This gives me the Little League World Series feel. where all the teams look alike . But all in all i like some of the colors and logos.

1) Single striped (which means two teams with a main color of navy blue will only differ by the wordmark) 2) Double striped (see above) 3) Triple striped (this can be done well, but doesn't work for every design) Anything beyond that, and you start getting into the more outlandish designs, a la the rainbow-striped Astros, which is a personal pet peeve of mine, because I think that kind of style takes away from the clean, crisp designs of baseball uniforms on the whole. And yes, I could do colored home or away jerseys, but the white version would still leave almost no room for variation (see the Angels and Cardinals in real life, for example). Working with this template, which limits the stripe pattern, but allows for combinations of 3-4 colors, means I can take two teams with a similar color scheme and make them much more unique compared to each other (see the Rox and the Mustangs from earlier). Just personal opinion, of course, but I find color to be far, far more effective at distinguishing teams' unique designs than stripe patterns. EDIT: Also, I find doing alternate sets utterly pointless, since there's no way to use them automatically in-game. The game currently allows you to set home and away only, so I'm not going to waste my time making a third jersey that I would then have to manually load into the game once an in-game week. -shrug- Last edited by Fyrestorm3; 09-23-2018 at 03:53 AM. |

Bangor Lumber Barons
Making a slight affiliation change here. I previously had the Caribou Huntsmen as the affiliate of the Mammoths; while designing this set, I realized I was nearly co-opting the Mammoths' colors. So I decided to switch. The Huntsmen are now the affiliates of the Bar Harbor Beacons, while the Mammoths receive the Lumber Barons.
It's funny, I custom-named this team for the fact that Bangor was built upon the lumber trade, and as such I expected this one to be a rather difficult design. Who knew I'd actually turn up a "Lumber Barons" logo simply by Googling? The logos are taken almost in full from a logo for the Yukon Lumber Barons by Raphael Valenti. The teal looks a little bright here, but it looks a lot better in-game. ![]() ![]()

I didn't read through the whole thread, but do you have a list of the 24 MLB teams with affiliates?

And that does it for AAA! Here's the league logo I'm using (it's a bit plain, but I like it):
![]() And all the NRL files, properly named and zipped: NRL Collection All zip files will be added to the original post, as well. Next up will be AA, which consists of two leagues, the Cape Cod Baseball League (pulled directly from said collegiate league), and the Interstate League, with teams situated more or less along I-95 and I-91. These jerseys will be more "traditional," so as to give each league its own identity. |

That would probably help, wouldn't it? Give me a sec, I'll type it up.

Incredible designs! Being a New Englander, it was quite the treat to see a league dedicated to our region.
One thing I noticed wasnt included was my Gardner Wildcats lol. Great job |

Sure, it's probably not realistic for the CCBL to give up their Summer League status and become a professional minor league, but it wouldn't really be a New England association without them. These won't take nearly as long as the custom teams, especially since I had previously compiled them for a project a few years back. Just some updates where necessary, and a port into my current template.
All of these are faithful recreations of the teams' current logos/jerseys. However, as good-quality images of some teams are hard to come by, I've had to do custom text or build some logos from scratch, so they might not be perfect, but they'll be close enough. To start, the CCBL league logo:

Bourne Braves
There's no real "home" and "away" cap that the Braves use, so mix and match however you like. For the jerseys, the league uses white homes and colored aways. The Braves are the AA affiliate of the Stampede in my game.

Damn Fine Work!!!
Thanks for sharing it with us. I'll definitely be using some of these. Particularly liked the tusk effect on Maine's M.

Brewster Whitecaps
"This won't take nearly as long as the custom teams," I said, forgetting that 1) I only have the old jersey files, not the raw logos, and 2) I'm much more of a perfectionist now than I was back then. So, doing them all from scratch! Here's the Whitecaps, who are (naturally) the affiliate of the Waves.

Chatham Anglers
I hope people appreciate the fact that I had to nearly custom-make the wordmarks for these jerseys, as I couldn't find them anywhere online.
That said, I also personally prefer the Anglers' old home wordmark, so I've included it as an alt uni. The Anglers are the affiliate of the Whalers (funny how the names have kept lining up so well). ![]() ![]() ![]()

Cotuit Kettleers
Finally, a relatively easy one. And one of my favorite color schemes in the league, too. The Kettleers are part of the Bears' minor league system.

Falmouth Commodores
Back after a brief hiatus. Though the Commodores still use the old anchor-and-pitcher logo, they've also half-switched over to the roundel with the F. I've included both for posterity. Falmouth plays for the Salem Tide in my game.

Harwich Mariners
I live! It's been about a year since I last posted here and even longer since I last worked on this, but I've suddenly found myself with more free time than usual (can't imagine why), and I hate to leave a project unfinished. So, gonna motor right along like nothing ever happened.
I'm not a fan of how the Harwich Mariners have embraced the red color scheme for their home jerseys; it doesn't really make sense for the imagery. But I'm just recreating these, not changing anything just yet. To keep the nautical theme going, they are the affiliate of the New Haven Admirals. ![]()

Hyannis Harbor Hawks
The H on the cap was a royal pain in the behind to make. No good quality images of it anywhere, had to pull it from their old main logo, size it up, and then basically re-draw it. Came out relatively alright, though. The Hawks play for the Bar Harbor Beacons in my game. I've also included last year's away uniforms as alts, since I find them quite a bit more interesting than the all-blue.
